awww i love movie! i was enthralled and frighten by it as a child, still am. i find that movies that frightened me as a child scare me more to this day that any horror movie i have seen to this day

I think so. too! I was at the same age with Matilda when the movie was seen first in the television. I was frightened by the sober and grotesque personality of the principal.
