Nineteen

Tomorrow, May 21, I'll be nineteen. Next 365 days, I'll be twenty and so on. I've come up with an idea on how to celebrate my birthday, so here's the plan: I'd rather celebrate my birthday with a street child (or I'll make it street children if I can handle them quite easily) instead of throwing a party because I've spent already eighteen birthdays with friends and family. This time, I want it to be something different. And I want to serve as a good example to my friends.

P.S. It took me almost nineteen years to be happy, and I won't make any huge mistake to feel miserable again. (smiles)

The CBS Evening News featured Ruby Ellenby, a 3 year old photographer from San Fransisco, California. She focuses on abstract with the use of her own Vtech camera for kids, and will be having her first solo photo exhibition at Moshi Moshi Restaurant. She also sell prints for $40.

Magnificent

The other night, I've received sooo many SMS from friends about how amazing the moon was, and a friend and I looked up at the sky and saw nothing but a mere darkness of void. I was really interested in finding out, and with the help from a friend, I was tagged in this upper photo in facebook.

I am very thankful to my new friends in blogoshpere for giving me their kind comments on my posts especially Psynopsis who haven't missed a single one since she arrived in this site.

I have added blog roll and a photography link (See PERIWINKLES and THE POND on the right side if you're facing the monitor.). And another, It's already two weeks since I made my bloglovin' account and it seems there's no follower. If you're kind enough, I need your support (smiles). P.S. There's only one week left in school and I'm pretty excited to soak myself under the thespian sky with my classmates. After a stressful semester, I think we deserve to have a break. If you have the chance to spend a whole week in an island for free, where would it be?

Tear Catcher

Lachrymatory is one of the most sweetest and inspiring thing on this planet. I have been waiting nearly 19 years in this world to have one and I'm still counting. According to tearcatcher, it is a symbolic gift of love, joy, sorrow and remembrance. It seems we can only find such a thing in antique shops or in the internet.

Trinkets & Figurines

I just found these fantastic finds in sunshinesyrie's flickr photostream. Whatnot shelf is a series of open shelves produced in England on 18th century. My mother used to have one to display her little trinkets, treasures, and figurines. But I don't know where they are now, it's been ages. Though, I'm struggling to have one again and hang it on my bedroom's wall.
